HVAC Introduction

HVAC is an acronym for heating, ventilation and air conditioning. New installations that require closely monitored temperature regulation employ this combined climate control solution. Heating, water heating and heating and cooling are all integrated into an HVAC system for sufficient control and safety. The term 'climate control' is often used in association with HVAC systems as the three previously mentioned functions are indispensable for any office - or living space's basic level of comfort. HVAC installations were widely used in factories during the Industrial Revolution and have soon taken over further segments of the market as popular forms of integrated climate control solution.

HVAC functions are categorized into three basic groups that are in interrelation with one another in this integrated system. They are heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

Heating:
Adequate room temperature is maintained by heating. Especially cold weather conditions call for an immediate heating solution. HVAC systems differentiate between local and central heating. Local heating is more economical (and therefore more widely used) in terms of energy consumption as only certain areas of buildings require heating. Heating systems are comprised of radiators, boilers and heat pumps.

Ventilation:
Ventilation is a component of the HVAC solution responsible for the movement of air. Appropriate health and safety conditions depend on its suitable operation as ventilation changes carbon dioxide into fresh air, technically imitating the human body's breathing mechanism. Insufficient ventilation can result in diseases, allergies and the growth of bacteria due to a high humidity.

Air-Conditioning:
Air conditioning systems operate both heating and ventilation. They come in different shapes and sizes, depending on the specific needs and conditions of the building or room. Large air ducts could cause difficulties in the installation process; therefore the building's capacities need to be examined beforehand. Properly cleaned and maintained air-condition air ducts are essential for a healthy operation. Even HVAC return-air grills are vulnerable to the elements; therefore, they should be installed in a clearly visible height for undisturbed observation.

HVAC future
Wireless solutions are the buzz of the future as companies have discovered the time and money saving potential behind it. Wireless HVAC significantly diminishes installation and labor cost, thereby turning out to be far more cost-effective than their predecessors. Today, our sense of comfort and health is highly affected by climate conditions in our living area and office space. New buildings most often opt for this combined solution for maximum benefits.

I immediately got a call from a moving company who was very professional. We've had good communication, the survey was punctual and they returned a quotation the following day as promised. So far, so good!
